About Pilates
During the 1920s Modern Yoga Renaissance, Joseph Pilates formed his methodology for rehabilitation: ‘Contrology.’ With a core focus on control and precision over high intensity movement, dancers and returning soldiers were among the first treated with Pilates, seeking to build strength and find relief from their aches and pains.
Now known simply as Pilates, this is the art of controlled, low-impact movements that centres on the powerhouse of our body, the core – which includes not only your abdominals but also your hips, inner and outer thighs, and your back.
Consisting of breathing technique and a series of movements on a mat or specifically designed apparatus (here, we have the Reformer), your coordination, strength, flexibility and focus will improve in leaps and bounds.

We invite you to reconnect with yourself through movement and mindfulness.
Rooted in integrity, vitality, and love, our practices offer a modern approach with a deep respect for tradition—guiding you toward inner balance and self-discovery.
